Our programs are built on a foundation of proven, evidence-based therapeutic techniques combined with cutting-edge bio-technological treatments, fitness and experiential learning. Our end goal is to provide the support and tools necessary for people become their best selves through emotional wellness and balance.

Healing Trauma-Induced Grief

Around 50% of the population has experienced at least one trauma in their lives. At any given time, 7-8% of the U.S. population is struggling with PTSD. These events can trigger emotional and physical reactions that make one more prone to any number of health conditions, including heart attack, stroke, obesity, diabetes, and cancer. The risk for mental and physical health problems from a past trauma rises with the number of events one has experienced. These events can include physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, physical neglect, emotional neglect, domestic violence, substance abuse, mental illness, parental separation, and incarceration of a household member. Grief, such as the death of a loved one, can produce similar symptoms to PTSD in certain individuals. If one is already anxious or depressed, the passing of a loved one can dramatically compromise one’s ability to cope.

AT LEAST ONE TRAUMA in their lives.

Without the ability to cope with stressors in a healthy way people often turn to risky behaviors for comfort, such as drinking or drug use. There is a direct biological effect on your body when it undergoes extreme stress, including increased production of adrenaline, a racing heart, and being physically primed to react. An individual who has experienced trauma may experience this more frequently than one who hasn’t. Over time this causes wear and tear on the body, aging one’s system faster. Another side effect is increased inflammation in the body, which is associated with things like cardiovascular disease and autoimmune diseases. Early trauma can completely disrupt one’s inflammatory system, leading to long-term chronic health problems triggered by constant inflammation.

Individuals who have dealt with significant trauma may struggle with accepting the need for treatment because one of their key coping abilities over time has been avoidance. Many are also unaware of the role trauma is actually playing in their lives, and will use defense mechanisms to protect themselves from stress. We address this clinically through therapy, and also utilize biotechnology to aid in physical healing and emotional regulation.

Restoring Neuropathways

Technology has a variety of benefits. Our Wellness Lab utilizes artificial intelligence (A.I.) based equipment that is intuitive to your needs to produce positive outcomes. Some of the modalities we offer are listed below.

  • A type of biofeedback that uses real-time displays of brain activity to teach self-regulation of brain function
  • Through sound and visual feedback, the brain begins to reorganize and retrain itself to respond differently
  • Builds and strengthens new neural pathways
  • Charges the body’s cells so that one can reenergize, heal, and recover
  • Provides the needed energy to process therapeutic work
A.I. based cardio workouts
  • Provides the benefit of a long workout in a much shorter time frame
  • Increases energy levels and improves overall health
Photobiomodulation Therapy
  • Uses red and infrared LED light, promoting muscle recovery
  • Decreases inflammation and boosts mitochondrial function (i.e. energy production)

Through the many modalities available, clients can begin healing physically and psychologically, improving brain function and physical health. This allows for the brain to begin to establish new neural connections earlier in the treatment process, leading to a greater ability to emotionally regulate. The earlier in the recovery process this occurs, the more information one will be able to process and work through therapeutically.

Our team believes that in order for someone to have the best chance at successful, lasting recovery and overall wellness, we need to help them heal in every way possible. This includes the physical self, emotional self, spiritual self, and psychological self. By utilizing all the tools at our disposal, we’re helping each client figure out what will best meet their needs long-term.
