An estimated 19.7 million people in the US struggle with a substance abuse disorder. Another 30 million struggle with an eating disorder.
These statistics are staggering, but help is not lost. Every day, people just like you who are battling addiction and disordered eating find their path to recovery.
Is it possible that for you, the path to recovery begins with luxury rehab?
Read on to find out more about what luxury rehab has to offer, how it’s different from other rehab centers, and whether or not it’s right for you.
What Is Luxury Rehab?
Luxury rehab centers do not have the clinical, hospital-like feel that many rehab centers possess. For some, a stark and sterile environment may provoke feelings of stress, makin
g the recovery process more complicated. Luxury rehab centers are an oasis away from the outside world.
What sets luxury rehab apart? Let’s look at some of the amazing amenities you will receive while in a luxury rehab center.
At our luxury rehab facility, we provide you with a gorgeous private room. This allows you
to relax and get some much-needed downtime between any group and individual sessions. Our mattresses and bedding are on par with five-star hotels, guaranteeing that you’ll get a great night’s sleep while your mind and body recover.
Unlike many rehab facilities, we allow our clients to keep their phones. We respect their integrity and trust that they will use their phones only for positive communication. For many people, maintaining personal and professional contacts is crucial to feeling safe and calm.
You will find top-notch facilities during your stay, including a state-of-the-art fitness center. Take classes, use our machines, and find your strength. Afterward, grab a nutritionally balanced meal prepared by one of our gourmet chefs or head to the wellness lab for science-driven treatment.
We staff 24/7 medical professionals, including psychiatrists, to ensure our clients’ constant wellbeing. We apply pharmacogenomics to find the right medication and dosage for each guest’s genetic makeup. Each day of the week, our clients can meet with one of our licensed therapists to heal the heart and mind while also healing their bodies.
Finally, we make privacy a top priority. Our grounds are secured and sit just off of a 100+ mile shoreline. We are conveniently located near a private airport, making your arrival and departure smooth and discrete.
At Defining Wellness, we know that a one-size-fits-all approach is ineffective. We offer luxury addiction treatment programs designed to suit your individual needs.
For some, we offer medication assisted treatment. This approach combines carefully selected medication regimens with regular cognitive behavioral therapy.
However, we know that medication is not the right option for all of our clients. Some prefer to stick to therapy, exclusively, for which we offer a variety of options.
For example, we are staffed with therapists specialized in trauma and PTSD. These ailments often involve a specific pattern of triggering, flashbacks, and coping mechanisms. It is not uncommon for these coping mechanisms, when left untreated, to become dangerous or unhealthy and we focus on replacing them with something more positive and productive.
Substance abuse survivors all deal with a certain level of trauma. We find that experiential therapy can help our clients move away from the fight or flight instinct and towards a place of healing.
We also offer the 12-step program as well as 12-step program alternatives. Some of our clients do not identify with the belief system or philosophies behind the traditional 12-step program. They find more success with recovery programs rooted in secular or spiritual programs that center their own agency and presence.
Levels of Care
As you progress through your recovery process, your needs may begin to change. That’s why we offer levels of care designed to fit your needs as you come closer to a place of recovery.
We often begin with a luxury detox. This allows us to provide the same medical care you would receive in a hospital but with a better view and a nicer room. As we detox from addictive substances, our minds and bodies go through withdrawals that are often painful or uncomfortable and going through withdrawal without help can be very difficult.
We give our clients the option to choose between residential care and partial hospitalization care. In residential care, you stay with us the entire time. In partial hospitalization care, you shift between inpatient and outpatient care as it becomes necessary.
We also provide intervention care and help our clients create and aftercare plan. Our goal is to be there when you need us for as long as you need us.
Is Luxury Rehab Right for You?
If you need a customizable rehab care plan, luxury rehab may be right for you.
If you require privacy and comfort as you recover from your addiction, luxury rehab may be right for you.
If you’ve been struggling on and off with substance abuse and you’re ready to make a change, we want to help you make that happen. At Defining Wellness, we don’t tell you how to recover. We work with you to create a holistic recovery path together and each and every day, we find new ways to stick to it.
